(no subject)
So I went to Jagermeister 2004 in Houston on 4-30 which is a day after my birthday, Lets just say it kicked total fucking ass. Me, my brother Shain and his girl Erika decided to go considering the line up just kicked ass (Death By Stereo, Chimaira, Fear Factory, Slipknot). It took us a while to find the Verizon Amphithreater considering the place is just some small building on a street corner, Hard as hell to find so we spent 30 minutes looking for it, then 15 minutes finding a place to park.. (Ended up parking 10 blocks away, 10 minutes late) Made it to the amphitheater and When going in the door I had to throw away my wallet chain but I guess they didnt want me strangeling people with it.. (Spikes and shit had to be thrown away too) Made it inside just to hear Death By Stereo finish, Ahh well atleast I didn't miss Chimaira (Very glad I didn't miss chimaira). I take a piss and we all make our way through the crowd and finally make it to the floor, First came Chimaira who's show totally just kicked total fucking ass, no questions asked. "Noah" Parted the ocean of moshers and made them run into each other, It was beautiful. It made a believer out of my brother who went immediatly after the Chimaira set and bought the CD, I bought a Chimaira tour T-Shirt (and damn well near a gallon of water). Came back in time to see the lizardman make his way to the mic. That guy does some crazy shit! He nailed some nails into his nose and pulled them out, then used a powerdrill and drilled into his nose, One of the most memorable things about it is when some dude threw a cup of beer at him, he turns picks the cup up and chunks it back and goes "Missed Motherfucker!". Priceless. Fear Factory entered, cheers all over the place, and the music starts. I was headbanging my ass off and talking to this chick I had just met beside me who was headbanging with me. After an awesome set Fear Factory leaves and Lizardman comes back out and puts a condom through his nose into his mouth and vice-versa then gets like 11 metal tipped darts thrown into his back this other dude picks up a mini keg with his eyeballs it was cool as hell, Another cup of beer gets thrown at him... CLOSER MOTHERFUCKER. You can feel the anticipation of the crowd as they wait for Slipknot to come on, The name Slipknot rings through the theater as fans chant over and over, Darkness ensues and after a small wait the music starts, Best fuckin show i've seen in a while. Long story short (Should have been there to see how amazing the slipknot set was). The girl I've been talking to leaves but not before a hug and a set date, Well fuck I guess I forgot I wont be in houston lately, ahh well. The hug will be the only thing I remember her by I guess. She was cool as hell. Anyway, I drag my way to the car, get home, pass the fuck out and wait in anticipation for the next time I get to go to a show half as awesome as Jagermeister Tour 2004.
