At 6 am, walking my dog, I came across that clichéd conundrum and test of character: if you find a wallet on the street, actually bulging over with cash and credit cards, and no one is around (or awake) to see you, what do you do? Noticed that the ID indicated an address just about half a block down, so I returned it, a mere $20 lighter. No, no, I jest, I of course left it as found. Actually I just propped it on the doorknob of the address, as I didn't figure the person would appreciate being woken at 6 am, wallet or no. They're just lucky my dog didn't find it first, I've never quite forgiven her for eating a $10 bill she pulled out of my pocket last year.
