A hot time tonight
So much for New Years Eve plans, its stinking hot outside, its supposed to be 42C (108) and it feel like it, definatly hotter than yesterday which got to 39C (102 for any Americans out there), and on a afternoon like this, plans to go to parties just melt away (unless they had a pool, and I dont know of any with a pool).
But other plans have been going well, bought and inserted some drain plugs for the house in case of bushfires this afternoon,and general cleaning up/preparing for a hot summer. The hammock I bought in Mexico many years ago is finally up after clearing up a part of the garden I haven't attempted to cleanup since we've moved in, building a secret garden area with a green canopy under the jungle vines.
But at the moment Im inside, the aircon is busy earning its worth, the house has all its blinds and curtains down to minimise heat from outside getting in, and Im finally posting in my LJ.
