(no subject)
So I don't have much to do at work today, and at 3:45 (15 mins early) I decide to call it a day. Normally I don't get any e-mails and most aren't urgent. Surely enough, when I checked my e-mail tonight I had one from my boss at 3:47 and one from another ingredient manager at 4:14 urgently asking if I could take on these two audits.
Now, in my mind, if you want to know something by Friday, don't ask a person 15 minutes to 4 on Friday whether or not they can do it. Ask earlier. I know Minneapolis is an hour behind, but still. Especially since they sent a big list asking us things we could cover on Thursday and I replied on Thursday. If these were really so important they should have been on that list.
I doubt it's a big deal, and I probably won't get in trouble, but i hate that sick feeling in my stomach knowing I've done something wrong and I just wished I had checked back to my e-mail at 4:00. :( Just to make sure. :'(
