Really, she wasn't sure she had time to dance today. But forty minutes in bed had proved sleep wasn't going to grace her with its presence, and Christine still had time to kill before she met with Leonard on Starbase Elipson for an afternoon of medical staff bonding, so dancing it was.
Besides, she reassured herself as she finished stretching and cued up a jazz song to play over the gym's speakers, she needed some hobby that didn't involve just keeping everyone alive. Heck, she could even take that one step further and say dancing was keeping her alive, or, at least, it had, at one point in her life. Granted, that had been more her ballet studies than the contemporary jazz, but she wasn't quite brave enough to pull her pointe shoes from her gym bag just yet.
So jazz it was. Ball-change, step back and left and slide… Three bars in and she couldn't keep the smile off her face.
