The first sensation Donnie felt upon awaking was a sharp pain in his neck. He fluttered his eyes open wondering where he was. He saw his fish tank in the distance and knew he must be in his quarters. He frowned and tried to turn his head, body still numb to sleep. He hissed, the pain worsened as he turned the craned neck to the other side.
A moment later the feeling began to return to his body. He looked down at a curious pressure against his arm. A mess of light blondish hair met his gaze, pressed against the side of his arm. He blinked hard following the hair to legs sprawled across the length of his couch. His line of perception failed to see the arm tucked beneath her body but did catch the one that led to the hand resting softly on his knee.
He grunted as he tried to turn his head the other way again as if not having the figure in his sight would make the anxiety easier to stifle.
Hoarse with the morning he made a humming sound then, "Uhm. Chr-Christy?" He turned back to her and softly shook the arm she was, for lack of better term, snuggled up against.
