Engineering - Day 29 (Gamma Shift) - OPEN
It had taken nearly two weeks of non-stop work, but at long last the entire ship was back in full working order - they'd even caught up on backlogged maintenance requests.
In celebration, the chief engineer was indulging in a favourite pastime: lounging on the stolen couch by the still, drink in hand, placing mental bets on which of the new transfers were going to object to alcohol on duty and which ones were going to ask for a glass. So far two had looked uncomfortable and vaguely disapproving, and one had cast a longing look at the still before hurrying off again.
Gamma shift was back to being a quiet one; it was nice to have a way to pass the time.
