THE DARK KNIGHT makes $66.4 million on Friday
THE DARK KNIGHT is set to break box office records as it will probably make between $150 million to $200 million by Monday. It will be over the $300 million point by the end of next weekend. The midnight screenings I went to was packed (and the other two screens showing the film were too). It was madness, but everyone was eager to see a film better than the first one.
Over at Time, the writer doesn't get the appeal of people standing in line for midnight screeenings for the film:
