Other, very sad thing...the drummer of Avenged Sevenfold died. And here I thought we were done with the celebrity death thing...guess not. We're gonna miss the Rev and his kickass drumming skills. <3
I was thinking today about how weird it is that music has become my passion. I've been playing piano since I was three, but it was a hobby. I wanted to be a pediatrician. A teacher. An archeologist. Then I picked up a trumpet, and I discovered a little band called My Chemical Romance (way back in the early days, even before their first CD was out), and I fell in love. And now everything I do revolves around music - my trumpet, guitar, French horn, and the kids I teach. With the music came the writing and photography - and I am obsessed. I want to be a music teacher now. Or a professional musician. Or a conductor. Or in a band. Or all of the above. And writing like a maniac and seeing the world through a camera lens comes with it.
I love it. I love being on fire.
