i was actually thinking about the phrase "come hell or high water" today. i mean does hell or high water EVER come? it's not like you're going to be over there in japan all like "the water's too high; i wish i'd never come."

well maybe it was coined on a boat, and some guy knew he was going to hell, and he wanted to do right before he died, but the boat started sinking and high water came. or maybe somewhere decided to smoke up or something.
i dunno.
