i truly have become everything i used to hate, but thats cool
so went to pick up my new camera yesterday (yay)should have some fun with that
also saw my brothers show at the battle of the bands
they won apparently which is very surprising and not because they aren't good, but because they are good.
i was expecting some played out shitty punk band to win, because kids are dumb like that, but sure enough matts band won. so there you go.
i think college has made me an elitist, or at least really really pretentious. because at shows i really am an asshole, (or maybe shows with highschool kids are jsut really really lame yea thats probably it) but the onlty band other than my brothers that i liked was the artsy stuck up pretentous grindcore band that everyone else hated.
they kicked ass, and talked some shit about the crappy punk bands, wouldn't look at the crowd unless they had too, and they had a guy who juggled in the band, he jsut juggled and waved a flag with the bands name on it. it was pretty tits.
all in all a good evening
