Photography
During my last trip to see my mom, my brother brought his fancy DSLR and took some fantastic photos. It inspired me to try my hand at some photography, too.
I picked up an entry level Nikon and started to teach myself. Did you know, there are one or two articles on the Internet about photography? Only one or two though, not any more than that.
After not too long, as with most hobbies that Shaun and I pick up, all of a sudden we have to buy two of everything. Instead of getting another entry level camera, I decided I wanted a more advanced model with more direct buttons and controls. Both cameras are capable of the same exact photos, only difference is mine is bigger and heavier and more cumbersome :P
And I’ve really been enjoying it. I never thought I had an “artistic” or “creative” side, but I find this is bringing it out in me. And while I’m not as good as a lot of people out there, I’m proud of some of the shots I’ve done, and most importantly, I’m having fun.
