This... was an interesting situation he found himself in.
Quote had been unsure when he had awoken. His shut down had -- thankfully -- been fairly routine, as had been the reboot, so he wasn't suddenly missing the entirety of his memory banks. But here -- where he was now -- this... was definitely a location he didn't remember. It hadn't taken him but a minute to find a few people to question, but they had been.... odd. Their speech had almost been as halted as his and at least one of them seemed to suffer mental retardation. He had registered fairly easily that they stunk of drugs, filing away that it was likely the cause, moving on once he had garnered the information he needed from them.
It had not been quite what he expected. Granted, by now he was far and above used to waking up in strange places, but even this was a bit of a stretch for him. A flying junk-ship on a multidimensional resistance? A large 'empire' to fight against? It did remind him of the island, if... vaguely. Misery and Balrog didn't quite make an army, after all, but apparently everyone here was completely outgunned.
Hours later, Quote had finally stopped his curious poking into... well, everything nearby. Now that he had at least a rough idea of the area he was in, he could access the next most important thing -- his armory. He reached out to that strange mental 'pocket' of his and, as per usual, felt the Missile Launcher react to his call and settle in his arms and on his back. He cycled through them all -- the Spur, the Bubbler, the Fireball -- before settling on King's Sword, holding it gently in his hands as always. The flicker of the blade's inner energy confirmed that his friend's soul was as firmly entrenched in it as ever. Satisfied, Quote set out, intent on taking a closer look around his surroundings -- and the people that were here. This place would be explored if he had anything to say about it, oh yes...
