It's been several weeks since Hawke crawled out of a bio-pod to find herself somewhere unimaginable. She thought she knew unimaginable; she was very wrong. This person seems to know how to treat mabari, however, and is treating him with respect, so he continues to look at her and offers a tentative bark and tag wail rather than biting, as he sometimes would.]

She stands and beckons.

He barks again and wags his tail to show approval of this plan, then goes looking for his own scent, hoping it will take him back to wherever Master is; This Person should know her]

Sheeana glances around, making sure noone is there to witness the indignity that is about to follow. Then she crouches and sniffs where Teo is. She closes her eyes and sorts the molecules in her mind, looking for something above the normal reek of plants, patchouli, sweat and metal. It's a slower process than a canine's nose and takes more concentration but eventually yields similar results.

"I'm sorry, I can't pick anything unique out of that. It's all the same, sweat, stale air, recreational narcotics, fuel, all the chemical detritus of our little closed society. Someone's wearing cured animal hide though, that's rare..."
She gave the dog a smile, a little embarrassed at catching herself rambling to a dog. With Duncan gone and Motoko scarce there weren't many people on the station who could keep up with her conversationally.

At that point she glanced up into a pair of stunning blue-on-blue eyes. Ah. "...you," she finished rather weakly. The dancer. Well now, that was unexpected.

Hawke straightened up. "So do I get a name this time, or shall I just keep calling you blue-eyes? Seems a bit too predictable." She grinned.

"I have a way with wild things." She returned the grin. The way it turned up the corners of her mouth to expose her canines just a tiny bit implied that this sympatico might have been due to them being of a kind...First the worms, then the futars, now this.

"A way with wild things, hmm? Then it will amuse you to know that my name is Hawke. I'd hardly call this fellow wild, however. If anything he's too damn tame, and smart enough to know that I have to take responsibility for anything he does. The pest." It's said with great fondness, however.
