To be fair, I'd love to go to space only if it were a much comfier experience than it is now. Maybe in a couple of centuries in the future. Boy, am I lazy even in my fantasies. :D
I bought it just from the pictures, originally, because the digital version was on offer. But I ended up loving it from beginning to end. So much cool stuff to look at.
I'm the same. Space is so hard at the moment and it takes forever to get anywhere. They should get back to me when spaceships are futuristic, and we can go sightseeing without putting me to sleep for a hundred years.
Plus watching Gravity didn't help with that. I loved that movie, but I think it stopped an entire generation of kids from ever wanting to become astronauts. :D
I'll just keep watching this video over and over again, and dream of space from my comfy chair. ^^
Yes, I have so much respect for all the people spending time in space with the technology we have now. But it's hard, uncomfortable, dangerous, dirty work. I think everyone is just hoping for all the space fiction to come true in the next century.
