The incompetant freshmen are faring...drama? There's been a fair amount of angst, for reasons I'm sure you'll hear about, but I have a feeling that everyone is going to be OK. It'll take a little time. This incompetant freshman is researching Bollywood and trying to hang out with everyone and being horrifyingly lazy.
Your brother is in good health, it seems to me. He's been smiling a lot. We went shopping last night, and found a bunch of t-shirts and a kitten as big as my palm. Your family was going to go to Ohio, and then didn't.
Understanding people when they talk? Psssh. That's for squares. There are definitely times when I wish that my parents were speaking another language, so I wouldn't have to listen. :-)
I love you very much. Have fun with baguettes.

"I was a free man in paris
I felt unfettered and alive
There was nobody calling me up for favors
And no one’s future to decide
You know I’d go back there tomorrow
But for the work I’ve taken on
Stoking the star maker machinery
Behind the popular song"

Dear Brian
Every time you have posted an LJ France ive comented with a different Joni Mitchell song relating in some way to France. You've only posted once before and there are only two songs that Joni Mitchell sings about France so please do not go to France again for I am out of songs.

Love

J. Patrick Metcalf
