How did i get this?!
Last night- the swim banquet! It was pretty cool. I hung out with my little brother AJ, and I haven't done that in a while so it was awesome. We had fried chicken from knotts..WOW! delicious. And then they gave out awards.
Now- I dont know how i managed to do this, well, yeah I do, but still.. I'm not an ACTUAL swimmer, I'm just the manager and stat girl. I messed up my knee pretty bad back in the day and the doctor won't clear me to do anything so... I manage, And I always hassle Coach Cholette whenever a swimmer goes up to him and asks him about letters... and i'll say something like "hey cho- do i get a letter? i haven't missed a practice or a swim meet yet. even when i'm sick, i'm here!" jokingly, of course..And I never thought he took me serious...BUT I FREAKING LETTERED LAST NIGHT!!!!!!!!! I'M SO STOKED. My Junior Year has seriously been made because of last night..because i've finally been acknowledged for all the hard work i do for that team. I love doing it, dont get me wrong, I just didnt feel like i was appreciated by the coaches or anything, and now i know that i am! I mean- if it weren't for me, seriously, there wouldn't be any extra swim meets and there would be no suits and no stats and no..anything..it'd be crazy!
