Bro Calendar 2012
You may remember the epic project that was the Bro Calendar we put together last year. There seems to be enough support that I'll be trying to put another together this year.
Everything will be 90% the same as last year. The technical details are as follows:
-Image should be at least 8.5"x11" (landscape, NOT portrait!) and the resolution should be AT LEAST 300ppi.
-Due date is Tuesday, November 1st. November 15th
-Color is preferred, but shaded greyscale is acceptable too.
-PG-13 max, please!
This year, please choose your own bro pairs. It was quite silly trying to have people pick from bros I had picked out and I apologize for it. As long as they are bros (not necessarily blood brothers but those as close as brothers), they are acceptable for this project. It doesn't matter where they comes from (manga, anime, video game, drama, movie, American comics), just that they are bros and you want to draw them. The only thing NOT acceptable is a double of a bros already picked by another participant.
If you'd like to participate, please let me know! Tell me what bros you'd like to draw, what they are from, and what month of the calendar you'd like (calendar month not necessary). I'm sorry, I cannot pay participants for their submissions, I will send you a physical copy of the calendar!
Again, these will be printed by Lulu and available for purchase by anyone. The price for non-participants this year will be sliiiiightly (maybe 50 cents) above the minimum so I can cover some costs of the participants' calendars.
We need 12 submissions to make this work (13 if someone wants to draw the cover), so please pass this around to your friends!

THIS IS NOT "OFFICIAL" OR ANYTHING YET, BUT…
I'm also thinking of doing a gijinka calendar. Gijinka, if you don't know, are versions of non-human creatures and objects that are given human characteristics. For example, if you search "gijinka" you will find many human versions of Pokémon. That's the sort of thing I'm going for. You can draw a gijinka for show/manga/comic/video game/whatever, same technical details apply to this calendar as the Bros one. The only restriction is there can only be ONE GIJINKA POKÉMON ENTRY. If you're interested, let me know. I'm not going to go ahead with any plans unless there is sufficient interest in this calendar as well! Oh, what the hell, let's go for it!
