We have three fantastic shows for you this month, starting this very weekend!
We are very excited to join
Waterfire Providence Saturday evening and bring our special brand of mayhem and magic to the Basin Stage. We will also be returning to the Steampunk Embassy (sponsored by our friends the Red Fork Empire) at the Old Stone Bank, up the street, for sets both before and after our set at the main stage. All events are free, and the art at the Steampunk Embassy is especially worth checking out. We played there 2 weeks ago, and the acoustics will (possibly literally) blow you away.
Waterfire ProvidenceSaturday, September 7th -- sets at 7:30 and 10 at the
Old Stone Bank, and 9:10 at the
Basin Stage.
FREE and all ages
Then on September 17th, celebrate the change of seasons with a Fall Freakout! We're bringing together friends at TT the Bears in Central Square:
VaNa MaZi, (all the way from Austin, TX), and fresh local crew,
Dr. Rah and his Brass Zombesemble.
All three ensembles draw influence from a variety of cultures and traditions around the world. Your ears will travel to Eastern Europe, Central Asia, touch down at a Mardi Gras Second Line celebration-your hips and feet will not miss a beat. Dance party on a Tuesday? You bet it is.
