We have a jam-packed November planned, and we'd like you to join us...

Saturday, November 5th, we are part of Shelley Quintin's multi-media arts extravaganza "Dreams, Stitches, and Rain Made of Razorblades."  We're starting the evening with a New Orleans funeral-style procession, and then playing a set later in the evening as part of a show including local performers Rogue Burlesque, The Okay Win, Big Big Buildings, The Hookups, and poets Adam McElreath, Danielle Drapeau, David Silverstein, Kevin Anderson, and of course, Shelley Quintin.

The very next day we're going to be kicking up our heels (and helping you kick up yours) at the Time Traveller's Costume Ball at Machine!  Have you ever had déjà vu? Have you happened to notice repeatedly when your clock reads 11:11? Have you watched “12 Monkeys,” “Time Bandits,” or the over-the-top romantic drama “Somewhere In Time” more times than you can count? Are you an H.G. Wells fan? Do you feel like you’re from another time? Well, here’s a chance to dress up as a visitor from any time in the past or the future for the Time Travelers Costume Ball. This once-in-a-century event, hosted by gender-bending (and time-bending) performer, Johnny Blazes, will be packed with entertainment from the fourth dimension including, What Time Is It, Mr. Fox? Emperor Norton’s Stationary Marching Band, Johnny Blazes and the Pretty Boys, Kielbasia, the accordion-playing Polish lunch lady, Lolli Hoops and her speed of light hula hoop, Special guest circus performers, Local animation and film shorts and Costume prizes!

November 18th we are returning to Club Oberon for a very special Boston CIrcus Guild event -- VaudeVillainy!  "VaudeVillainy brings together a cavalcade of mad scientists, evil geniuses, henchmen, bad guys, wrongdoers and mischief-makers flaunting their evil prowess as the elite of Boston’s professional circus performers. These nefarious villains will astound you as they soar above the earth, juggle doomsday devices, and balance the fate of the earth on the palm of their hand. The ever-scheming Johnny Blazes and the irretrievably evil Madge of Honor will oversee the antics of villainous jugglers, acrobatics, aerialists, and bewitching burlesque dancers. Live music by the heinously delightful Emperor Norton’s Stationary Marching Band may make you dance until you drop from exhaustion, leaving you even more susceptible to the inevitable triumph of evil over good!"

And we've saved the best for last: we are very proud to have been asked to play at the Boston Music Awards.

"Now entering its 24th year, the event itself is less of a traditional awards show and more of rolling party with multiple stages and extended sets from nominated artists.  This year’s event will once again be held at The Liberty Hotel in Boston on November 20th. Once again, the BMAs will feature some of the region’s most compelling emerging and established talent from Garage to Rock to Pop to Blues-Metal, Punk, Indie, Americana, International, Jazz, Hip Hop, RNB, Electronic, Folk-and everything in between."
