Well, my new mobile suit is coming along nicely so far. Running tests on the current design in the simulators. Never used the side chest mounted vulcans on the 79 much, so removing them to make for a larger generator is a win-win. It vastly improves thruster strength. Plus, I can put some more armor over the cockpit ( Read more... )

*Kira rushes up for basic training at 7:01, he doesn't seem to be rushing but at the same time there is an urgency about him. Upon getting closer it becomes obvious that he looks as if he didn't get much sleep.* Sorry! Sorry! I... I couldn't sleep last night... *For what it's worth, he does seem genuinely sorry for being late...*

*Shiro was in the middle of calling roll from the new recruits when Kira reached the training field ever so late. He glanced at his watch.* Man, why'd you have to be just ONE minute late. I could excuse you if the clocks here weren't all set to one another... it's just one minute, but... *He looked at all the other recruits; kid had to be an example it looked like... he didn't really have a choice*

*Surprisingly Kira manages to do the 20 push ups incredibly more adeptly than it would seem he should be able to. Even more of a surprise is that they seemed somewhat forced, as if he could do them faster but was intentionally doing them slower than he could. He then stands up, looks at the other recruits, and copies their stance as well as he can.*

*Tomoru, who has been stuck with these stupid morning training sessions for a lot longer, is quietly surprised. This kid is clearly in better shape than he looks. However, he decids it would be best to just keep his head down for now (as was his habit during mornings like this) and talk to the guy later.*

*Similarly to the Pushups, Kira seems to be inexplicably good at this. Its even more obvious now as he stares at Shiro and seems to almost perfectly mimic his movements, except when he momentarily and inexplicably seems to barely fail at it. Though those moments seem forced, almost intentional.*

*Being unable to really almost fail the obstacle course, Kira instead does it very well, but obviously hesitates longer than necessary at times in a seemingly intentional break in an otherwise quite good flow of movement. Somehow it seems like he isn't putting all his effort into it... Perhaps even that he doesn't NEED to put all of it in.*
