Title: Quirks in Bed
Pairing: Cas/Anna
Rating: Adult
Summary: Cas is insecure about his apparent quirk and Anna does her best to let him know she doesn't mind.
Note: Cas and Anna need fluff. They embody fluff and ought to have loads and loads of fluffy angel sex. And possibly babies.
At first, Anna had been slightly taken aback. As one generally is while in mid-mutual orgasm with a sweet, shy angel whose virginity she was guiltily taking. He’d bitten her hard, enough to draw blood in a thin trail down her shoulder. As soon as he realized it, he went straight back into panic mode and Anna had to hold him in place just to keep him from flying off.
“It’s okay,” she said softly, stroking his face and shushing him. “We heal fast. It’s just a love bite.”
“I-It was unintentional,” he said, eyes wide. “I didn’t know I was doing it until…”
Anna gave a soft laugh and carded her fingers through his hair to soothe him. “So you’re a biter, Cas,” she said, smiling. “I can handle that.”
“There’s a word for it?”
That was an explanation Anna didn’t enjoy having to give - mainly because answering all of Castiel’s questions was something of a full-time job and she could see none of them comforted him. He had a way of sitting when he was disquieted - it was the way he pulled his trenchcoat over his legs and fidgeted slightly.
“It might come from a primal desire to mark me, Cas,” she said with a shrug. “So other angels know when to back off.”
Probably one of the more interesting conversations she’d had in a Dairy Queen. And one of the most distracting since it seemed Cas enjoyed mint chocolate ice cream as much as she did and his tongue was performing around a spoon in a way that made her wish it were performing elsewhere.
He frowned. “Not liking the idea of another touching you shouldn’t equate to harming you.”
Anna took his hand on the table beside her, running her thumb over the back of it. “It’s sweet that you see me as your mate,” she said lightly. “Gives me kind of a girly feeling.”
She didn’t know how much of that was truth and how much of that was purely for his benefit. In a way, it was terrifying. Not because she was worried about Cas becoming some kind of angelic stalker boyfriend, but because she knew how new he was to all this and how easily he could be hurt. She knew he could handle it, but even the toughest little soldier had feelings.
“But you do not share that point of view,” he pointed out.
Anna sighed, leaning up to kiss his temple and lap a drip of ice cream from his lower lip. “Give it time, Cas.”
The next time it happened was pretty much like the first - she’d just suggested they get creative that time, so it was her left shoulder blade that caught the full extent of the damage. Her back arched, Cas’ hands being the only thing that held her in place on his lap. It was as if he weren’t there, just primal lust and need that he didn’t understand or know how to control.
The very knowledge of that made Anna cry out in both pain and pleasure, her body seizing as powerful muscles squeezed him hard. It was her scream that made him stop. “Anna, I’m…”
Anna panted hard, patting the hand he had on her belly as she shook her head and leaned back against him, head coming to rest on his shoulder. “Stop and I’ll kill you,” she said breathlessly.
She had to kiss him to wipe away that confused frown. It was the best way to answer any questions he had.
Angels didn’t necessarily have to shower. Anna knew this, but she didn’t care. Some habits died hard, and when she caught sight of the large bruise on her back in the mirror, framed by the indentations of his teeth, she decided against allowing it to heal.
