Why did techno have to die.

As lame as it was, I really miss techno. I use to hat eit until one fine New Years Eve 2001-2002 when cousin X, his/her friend "Capt'n Lush" and I took one too many C C C if you know what that is. The first time I did anything more extreme than potajuana. I remember Power 96 Late Night Laboratory was playing on his/her cd player and I was tripping out of my mind. It was amazing. After that, weed was amazing whenever I listened to that crap. The closed eyed visuals were to die for. Editor's Note:TooL is an amazing band if you want closed eyed visuals on the killer shwag. Then party 93.1 came on air in South Florida. Amazing. It started out with only 2 commercials per hour and non-stop techno. It was a fucking era man. Cousin X and I knew we were gonna have a great night when "Sandstorm" by Durude cam eon the radio. Amazing. But, I think things started to git' fucked up. People were dying at raves from extacy overdose, or a bad bean and the government started to crack down. 93.1 become some fucked up reggeaton station(Reggeaton is soundwaves translated from vibrating shit if you didn't know.) I mean techno was a huge part of my senior year in high school. Then I went to college. Techno still didn't die just yet. Up here there was Party 95.3(RIP). I remember it was just my new friend Piers driving the car and David, me and later Christina listening to techno. Just driving around. It was amazing. But then a tragedy, Piers left and with him the Party 95.3 became Power 95.3. Fuck radio hip-hop! And that was the end of an era. I mean, don't get me wrong. I KNOW the music is gay. It's simple. It sucks. But it did provide alot of great memories. It coincided with alot of cool points in my life and now it's gone. Many theories have come up for the reason why. People just got burned out. Along with techno came drugs, and that got old to alot of people. The Government stamped it out. This is the most likely because, I heard that techno is still pretty big in Europe.A perfect example; someone told me that in Hollywood Florida no club is aloud to play music that's not live after 12 a.m.. No chance for techno there. I really think these old fucks in office need to die already. They're ancient views don't coincide with an expanding future. Not just the old fucks, but anyone who wants to carry on their tradition. They need to die as well, or take a few hits of acid. So that's the end. A few songs on my computer are all that's left of that age. It'd be cool if it came back. Watch Groove. It's a very fairy movie if you catch my drift, but it's basicly what the techno age of the mid to late 90's were all about.
