» APPEARANCE: Medic is an older man, in his mid-to-late 40s with dark hair that's grey along the temples and is also receding slightly. His face is long and stern, his age beginning to show in the deep wrinkles along the sides of his nose. He wears small, rounded glasses. His uniform consists of a long, red-tinged coat with his class patch on the sleeves, a white shirt with a red tie, brownish-red uniform pants, tall boots, and a pair of thick red gloves. He also wears suspenders to hold up his medipack and a belt over top of his coat, along with several pouches on it. His face, unlike most of the others on his team, is always clean shaven with only the barest hint of stubble.
» PERSONALITY: Medic is a bit abrasive and short with people; he doesn't mince words. He lets people know when they're being stupid or failing his expectations (in-game quotes: "Anyone still alive has let me down", "my skill is wasted on this team"), especially his own teammates. He tends to be stern, but not overly serious as evidenced by some of his quotes when defending ("Oktoberfest!"). He gets irritated easily and his patience can run short in a hurry. He has very little patience for idiots or people acting dumbly.
He has a dark sense of humour and seems rather morbid ("Come over here, I promise I will heal you!" "Eins, zwei, drei...I do not think we brought enough bodybags" "Did that sting? Sorry (very sarcastic)"). He tends to taunt opponents he's dominating with either gleeful laughter or a quote like "would you like a second opinion? You are also ugly!"
Medic is above all a doctor and is very dutiful. He will attend to his duties as a field medic first, then kill people afterwards. He's not necessarily happy with this arrangement ("The healing is not as rewarding as the hurting"; "The healing leaves little time for the hurting"), but knows that it's his job. He gets annoyed by his teammates at times (he calls them idiots half the time in his capture or defend quotes), but trusts in their abilities ("I have healed the man who will kill you."). Medic is not above defending himself in a fight. Though he's typically a support class, he can hold his own in a fight and has no problem proving it to people that underestimate him on the battlefield ("I will saw through your bones!" and most of his other duel challenge lines).
Medic is a bit off-kilter and has less than sound medical ethics; his bio states that he has a 'trembling enthusiasm' to put his never-ending supply of needles into exposed flesh. Healing people tends to be an after thought in his quest to satisfy his own curiosity. Some of his quotes definitely show a darker, more sinister side ("You have 30 seconds to live" "All I can tell you about this next procedure is that it will be excruciating" "Hold still, Schweinehunds, this will only sting for a moment") that shows he has very little regard for almost anyone else's well-being. He considers himself a man of science and is fascinated by scientific achievements. He has little regard for sanctity of life, especially if it means he gets to experiment. His profile states that healing is generally an unintended side effect of satisfying his own curiosity. If something piques his interest, he'll pursue it until he can either figure it out for himself or experiment on it until he does figure it out.
