Cellphone story, DAN DAN DANG

Mar 18, 2009 00:01

So I've had some problems with my old cellphone, since the battery was dying way too fast, and I decided it was about time to switch to a new one. Especially with all those cool features cellphones of today have and my old one doesn't. Like uploading .mp3 files as ringtones for example. ^^ (and yes, I do realize that my example is pretty basic today, but my old phone was before the bluetooth era :P)  Okay, so I'm still not advanced enough to be able to play .mp4-s but hey, as long as I have my own ringtone and can send and receive calls, I don't really need anything else. Or rather, anything beyond that is just neat extras.

Anyway, I went and bought a Nokia 5000, after making sure it could perform my above mentioned minimum requirements. Then I came home and made it all girly and well...subconsciously way too Japanese if you ask me, but I like it this way XD

So here it is. The background picture is a random cherry blossom picture from the net, the strap is a smiling onigiri from Fruits Basket anime and a present from my cousin :)
And last but not least, my ringtone is a tailored fragment of Kumori nochi, kaisei! I made several variations, then I stuck with the one that didn't have any lyrics (ringtone 4), so I wouldn't have some people I know commenting on the fact that it was japanese. At least I know what it is! :)

Kumori nochi, kaisei ringtones: can download here if interested (sendspace) , MF mirror
