Yey! Pictures!! Thanks for meeting up with me, even though your trip was short... I hope you had a good time and I was really glad we could hang out! Sorry about the en-musubi shrine being closed... next time you come I hope that I'll be in a position to take a bit of time to show you guys around-- maybe introduce you to some kid-friendly restaurants that are still delicious, oshare and affordable, teehee.
Oh yeah, and let's definitely try to do something in NYC in the near future. :) With Lelu! Speaking of which, things are a little up in the air for me at the moment about my NYC plans (Mom wants me home for a particular weekend, friends want me in NYC, can't be in two places at once T_T) but will let you know and hope our schedules match! If I end up going up in the middle of the week, is that no good for you? Is it safe to assume weekends are better for you....?
If this time doesn't work out, there is always next March (when I will be home for a good chunk of time to do research & go to a conference on Emily Dickinson), and possibly also New Year's. :)
come when you can come! don't worry about me. I can make the middle of the week (that's what I did when I met with Megan and Stephanie) if my parents can watch William, which they usually can if they are in the country at the time. :) I know how stressful visits home can be, when everyone wants to see you and you are trying to schedule all at once (and I only visited from across the country, not across the world!) so if we miss each other this time, no hard feelings and March it'll be, hopefully! :-D Or New Years! In any case, I'll do my best to work around you when you come state-side next time!
