There's an old saying that goes something like this: In heaven, the policemen are British, the mechanics are German, the lovers are French, the cooks are Italian, and everything is organized by the Swiss. In hell, the policemen are German, the cooks are British, the mechanics are French, the lovers are Swiss and everything is organized by the Italians.

So should Italy really be leading the UN peacekeeping forces in Lebanon?
Just because they won a world cup doesn’t mean they are qualified to take charge of a situation like this. Lebanon used to be under French colonial rule. Maybe they would have a better idea of how to work about over there.
