Yesterday during lunch, I watched two students play 'basketball' with a crumpled napkin and a paper cup, while seated at the table.
The conversation went something like this:
One: Okay, one dollar to whoever gets it in?
Two: Ok, one dollar.
More unsuccessful shots.
One: Okay, two dollars to whoever gets it in?
Two: Two dollars, okay.
One: Watch the master at work. Sempei (points to himself), Gohan (?) (points to his opponent.)
More unsuccessful shots, and a few that land in the cup, tip it over and spill it out. Which doesn't count.
One: Starbucks coffee, Grande, to whoever gets it in?
Two: Starbucks, yes.
Sempei ended up winning, but only after they went for a death-match final run of five shots; whoever got the most shots nearly scoring (ie touching the cup) won.
