Memo to the UN Security Council.
Hi guys. I think it's great that you are imposing sanctions on North Korea in order to make them give up their nuclear weapons. I think it's great that you want to make them give up their nuclear weapons.
But - a little perspective here. We know how well sanctions work. Hello - Libya, Sierra Leone and South Africa? And seriously - you also might want to make other countries give up their nuclear weapons as well. You have countries on the Security Council with nuclear weapons. Get them to destroy their own too and the world will be a much better place. And you won't be seen as quite so hypocritical.
