Gong Xi Fa Cai
I know the Year of the Ox started last week but this weekend was the festival here in San Diego. Here are some of the highlights:
Surprised to see a co-worker in the kung-fu demo and lion dance performance. Daniel really does rock!
It is said when you feed the lion money you will have a lucky year. Here is a little one not only feeding a lion the red envelope but her whole arm
All the lions were beautiful and the music was great
There was also dancing
And contortionist
And since it is Josh's year we had to get a picture of him and the Ox
And finally I think one of the cutest thing I have ever seen is children doing the lion dance (the yellow one on the right)
