Well, I'm back to updating this thing more often! Let's hope it doesn't change, AGAIN.
Even though it's only been a day since a true entry, I do have some huge updates!
I'm dating Christopher again. He's going to try to come see me this summer, and if that doesn't work out, I'm already planning on going to Washington D.C. for spring break this school year. (He lives about one hour from there). I hate long distance relationships, I really do, but this one is something special. =]
I've booked my consultation with EIP studio for senior pictures! We'll be deciding on shots and all of that fun stuff, and then we'll book a session date. I'm excited! I'll post proofs and such. Which reminds me, how do you turn a really long entry into a link? You know, where it says (More...). I totally forgot. :( Help!
I'm going to my mom's this weekend to get out of the house, and the fact that she kind of wants me living with her full-time, but, I can't even being to fathom what that would be like. So, that's why I'm spending the weekend there. We'll see, we'll see.
Fair parade camp is next week, when we get to scare all of the little freshmen away! Hah. Just joking. I honestly don't even think I should have to march, because I've got music to practice. Our whole entire show is almost a low brass feature, which means total screwage on my part. I'm totally worried, because I don't want the blame coming to me if we screw up at performances. I mean, I won't be the only sousaphone, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to be section leader, and, yeah. I don't know, apparently Mr. Nick wants some more sousaphones this year, because we're only at two right now. I'll keep my fingers crossed that some freshmen will switch over. I'm getting the show music tonight early so I can take a look at it and stuff. I'm already forgetting sousaphone fingerings and such, so, I'm definetly going to be practicing everyday after Fair parade camp with Mr. Nick on it. I just really want to nail this, and especially because we have a performance on Sunday, and the fact that I have to learn the school song as well, which everyone else knows already, eek! I'm a crazy girl for doing this, but, it's for the band. Hey, at least I'll get to wear a red beret! Woo! I'm just worried about fast carrying with that beast, oh goodness! Band camp is going to be crazy!
I really can't figure out why I've been staying up until 6am every night. Maybe I'm an insomniac in hiding? I mean, even if I only have one or two cans of Diet Coke throughout the day, I'm still up until the wee hours of the morning. Grwar. Anyone have any suggestions or help? I know that I can take Benadryl, which I will be doing on Sunday night so I can get some sleep before Fair parade camp, and I'll be doing it at Band Camp every night as well, so that even if I'm tempted to stay up until 1am, I'll go to bed at (hopefully) a decent hour.
