***SPOILER---Naruto Chapter 481---SPOILER***
So, just read Naruto Chapter 481 **WARNING: the chapter title is a spoiler by itself**
Man, I was SO wrong about Sasuke!! What an absolute ASS!!! He is just leaving Karin there!
It is nice to see that Danzo isn't the absolute villain that everyone tends to make him out to be in their fan-fictions. He was actually doing what he thought was best for the village by taking care of the Uchiha threat--Madara. Madara, in all his cowardly-ness, put Sasuke between him and Danzo, knowing that Sasuke would do everything in his power to smack Danzo down.
What I like is that Sandaime and Danzo had the same dynamic as Naruto and Sasuke, Jiraiya and Orochimaru, the same type of rivalry-friendship. Although, in their case, both stayed loyal to Kohona and only wanted what was best for the village. The end was great, Danzo saying that he was now going to join Hiruzen. I'm glad he got to die the death he wanted, dying in battles protecting Konoha, just like Jiraiya, Hiruzen, Minato & Nidaime did.
Danzo may have never become Hokage like he wanted, but he did die a Hokage's death.
The other thing in this chapter is Sakura. My God, I cannot believe that she thinks that the group of them can take down Sasuke, let alone by herself. Considering what he just did to Karin, well, let's just hope that Kakashi makes it to them in time of Sakura is going to be a pink smudge on a wall somewhere. At this point, Sakura going against Sasuke would be like her going against Itachi, except Itachi would be more merciful.
I just can't figure out what she is doing. Does she really think that she can take Sasuke or is she subconsciously just trying to get herself killed?
Although, if Sasuke does make her a pink smudge while she tries to take care of him, I'm not too sure I could make myself care very much. The crap she pulled with Naruto, exclaiming her "love" to him, and using it as a lame-ass excuse to give up on Sasuke makes me want to drop-kick her. The fact that she thinks Naruto is shallow enough to believe her or insincere enough in his dedication to saving Sasuke that he would stop just because she told him to, makes me want to tell her to get over herself and stop being such a manipulative bitch.
Ugh, I'm still angry about that chapter! The: I love you now and not Sasuke, so just give up on him, because I know that you are only trying to save him because of your promise to me. You couldn't possibly care about him in any way that doesn't revolve around me, the pink-haired bimbo that you love more than anything else. I'm doing what's right for Naruto, because he is so helplessly infatuated with me that he simply can't think clearly for himself, so I have to do it for him.
For all that Sakura is supposed to have grown up, she hasn't. She is still that self-absorbed, shallow girl who thinks that Naruto is the village idiot and since he is obviously too stupid to think for herself, her, as the top female graduate of her class, must do the thinking for him. And he should be grateful that she is doing his thinking for him, because she is obviously smarter than him and therefore knows what is best for him.
