"Transitions" imagined scene
An imagined conversation from serenetwinkle's xxxHOLiC fanfic "Transitions" which now has five glorious chapters!
This was originally part of my review for the fifth chapter, but because I like to talk too so much, I ran out of room in my comment, so I posted it is here instead with a link in my comment for the chapter. Also, not very long because I was only slightly over the max characters for a comment.
This is not my story and this is not an official scene or anything, it is just my kooky imagination, so enjoy!
I can just imagine the conversation:
'Haruka-san, have you ever heard of the Witch of Dimensions or the Time-Space Witch?'
Answer apprehensively, 'Yes, why?'
'Because I want to scream my head off at her to get me home!!! If I have to threaten to withhold alcohol, then I will.'
'Ahhh, Watanuki-san, I would not suggest yelling at the Witch--she is very powerful and might get angry if you do.'
'So what! I yell at Yuuko all the time, why would this be different, and I am especially mad at her now for not coming to get me yet!'
Shizuka, 'What does yelling at your boss have to do with the Space-Time Witch?'
Stupid-Doumeki Stare 'Uh, everything!' pause 'She's my boss.'
'Ah, of course Yuuko is your boss at the Izakaya but--'
Waving hands frantically and horrified face. 'Not that Yuuko--my Yuuko--uh, I mean, the Yuuko in my home dimension. She is the Witch of Dimensions, or at least that is what a traveler from another dimension called her and she agreed that some call her that, which means that it is her!'
Pregnant pause, then two blurt out at the same time:
Haruka--awed, 'You know the Witch of Dimensions?'
Shizuka--disturbed, 'The Witch of Dimensions has that many piercings? And that colored hair? And runs a Izakaya?'
'Argh, why do I bother,' throwing up hands and falling on back.
That's it! Ta-da!! Now, to my Heat Conduction homework.
