*Wibble*… I MISS SKYBLUE!!!
Not too long ago, I got back from dropping skyblue_reverie off at the airport. *sniffle* Now I miss her! We had the best trip, which included a whole bunch of good food, a buttload of fannish fun, and a gay coffee bar. Seriously, we had a total blast. She introduced me to Red Dwarf, Veronica Mars, and the wonder that is Joss Whedon. I may now have to search out Buffy DVDs…I foresee becoming an addict sometime soon. I got her to watch Futurama and MST3K, which I’m pretty sure she liked. Yay!
In between long stretches of fannish overloading, we ate out at a few of my fav. restaurants, and also went to Mad Hatters, which is this really cool, somewhat Alice in Wonderland themed gay coffee shop, where we sat in big comfy chairs and drank coffee and tea until we were both buzzed on caffeine and were able to stay up until 3:00 am talking and watching TV.
I also bought “The Mating Season”, which I’ll read sometime soon - and she brought me a present! A cute rubber duckie, just like Bertie’s! Yay! And I drew her a Bertie/Jeeves fanart! Yay again!
But now I MISS her! If all goes according to plan, I’ll get to visit her sometime in May (starts countdown).
Oh, and if you’ve never eaten hummus, I recommend you go out and get some now!
