Heath, the Joker

Jul 19, 2008 16:11

I, finally, sat down and am going to type down the feelings of seeing the Joker. Yes, the Joker, Heath.
I haven't cried or sobbed when/after seeing it. I felt calm, blank and... don't know how to describe. It's pretty much like the feeling of seeing BBM - depressed? I'm not a Batman series fan. I went to see it just because of Heath. I acutally ( Read more... )

ah, yes >< sweetie, it's very hard to watch his movies without thinking he's gone =( I avoid reading all the news and pix of TDK Premiere cos it's sad to think the reason of his absent.
*sigh* I haven't watched BBM again for almost a year. Don't know why I suddenly wanna see it again when I was watching TDK. BUT I haven't watched it when I was home..
People didn't only hehehaha at some Joker scenes but also others. The story maybe quite funny? don't know cos I didn't pay much attention to it... only Heath.
Yes, it's better to go to see movies with your friends who have same interests as yours. If not, they don't understand why the movies make you cry and laugh like a fool.

Hi, Hi, nice to hear from you ^^
no, AMC PP isn't an IMAX cinema but the sound is loud and good enough. Have you seen it yet?? Apart from Heath, I did pay attention to the HK scene. It's up about half hour after the show started. wowowo, the view from IFC is so beautiful@ and it's really high!

I haven't seen it yet, I will watch it at MegaBox's IMAX next Tue. I don't know how I'll feel watching him, I hope I can forget that it's him and enjoy the film.

MegaBox's IMAX?! Take a look at this post. "於UA Megabox、朗豪坊及時代廣場小食部消費滿三十元便可參加即擦即獎遊戲,以贏取IMAX限量電影禮品。" Wondering what gift is it. I want the Joker key ring~~
ah, yes, I hope I can forget that it's him when I watch the film next time... it's quite hard though. Anyway, hope you enjoy the film and get the gift ^^

The posters they put in my city don't show anything of him but only Batman with the dark background of Gotham so I could see Heath only in the trailers till now. I hope I can go and watch the movie the next week. Here in Italy the most of the movie reviewers tell that he could win an Oscar "postumo" (after death) because of his extraordinary performance.
I still haven't seen the movie but don't think this performance - even if extraordinary - can be better of the one as Ennis Del Mar and at that time they didn't give him the Oscar (nor they did to the movie as the best movie or to Jake as the best supporter). But I'll be happy if they give it to him now!

Hey, Terry~ there are 2-3 different style posters in HK. The only one with Heath I saw was that one on the bus station. Ah, yes, some reviewers in HK said Heath could win an Oscar too. But I still love his performance as Ennis over other roles he played. What impressed me most in the Joker is his voice! You can't hear a trace of his real voice nor Ennis' voice. It's the Joker voice. *sigh* I miss him.

Well you know that "Ennis" voice was not his real voice, but a voice he learnt on purpose to better play the role. So I don't think we could hear something like that from him again *sigh*

yes, I know it. Heath did it intentionally. I suddenly think that Heath could be a good seiyu if he wanted to be x} he's a talent actor!

Hey,
I'm not really a fan of Batman series, too, but I think the producer is very talented. First, how the heck he could gather a lot of great actors in one movie? They have believe in him a lot. I didn't cry at the movie, too, but I did cry at home because I went back to watch Youtube. That wasn't a very good idea. There's this 5 parts tribute that someone took it from E! Entertainment tonight or something. And there're so many unseen footage of Heathy including in BBM when he sat with 2 dogs for poster shooting. Remember that picture? He scratched the little dog's head and I just broke out crying at that scene. *sigh*
But I didn't watch part 5 because it's about, you know, how he died, etc. I can't stand that. But Heathy is great (but we all know that, right :)
Hugs you.

ah, Blues, I didn't cry at the movie and at home but felt the lump in my throat when I was typing the feelings in the entry...
Could you give me the Youtube link?? I want to see it >< but not part 5. Many reviewers said this movie is great. I must go to see it again, hope I can pay more attention to other things, not Heath only ><

hugs back to you, hon.

Hey,
The first part starts here;
http://youtube.com/watch?v=JEEjFlojxAU
But there's image when the police took his body out from the apartment. I hate that news but there's a short clip of that in the first part. There's a lot of unseen clips when he was young (sooo cute!) I think the BBM part is part 3. And you can find part 2,3 4 and 5 from the link in that page.
I didn't save them because I know I'm not going to watch that again soon. But I do save some pictures *sighs* I miss him :(

Thanks for the link, Blues. I watched all 5 parts. I did look away when the police scenes come up. Apart from those scense, Heath looks gorgeous. Moving Heath is zillion times charming than his still pictures (looks great too but not as great as when he's speaking and moving). I miss him too =(
