Sun Is Shining
The amazing feeling, when sunshine feels warm on your face again. And when you actually see the sun since an eternity. It's the best thing there is. This is once again the time of year when it is simply impossible to get anything done. The sun is shining, it's spring (hello, climate change!) and I should sit by the computer? I'll have five different things to turn in next week. Fun. But maybe it'll get better after that. Yeah, right.
But seriously, yesterday was the first day since October that I haven't worn woolly socks inside the house. The only problem is that when spring comes, I start to want loads of new, pretty, spring-like clothes, but I'm absolutely broke. I've spent more than my student allowance every single month since last autumn, and I was supposed to be saving money while still living at home. I think I'll get my flat quite soon, and I'm already dreaming of growing strawberries on my balcony, since I'll probably have one. Funny thing, balconies. I spent the first 17 years of my life without one and never needed one, either. Now I can't live without it. I can't wait. Although I may have to skip the strawberries, since I'm not exactly known for my great abilities with flowers. Even my brand new orchid looks a bit worn out...
