On Tuesday
at 1600h on tuesday I was still wondering if we're going to have dinner outside or if, again, we're going to miss doing something special on a special day.
by 1700h i was told that we are going out and I was desperate trying to finish my Clapotis. (since my friend said that I can call it my anniversary shawl) I had to finish it in the car thereafter but I still didn't know where I was going. (and yes it was finished)
So, This is where we went:
And here's what I had at the restaurant, aptly named Desire
Following that Martini were (sparkling water), a foie gras appetizer (mmm mmmm i miss foie gras!!), a wonderful beef steak, medium rare and just nice, sided with a home made rosti and redwine butter. AS had authentic French Onion soup with ravioli (filled to the brim with cheese) and for the main course, the lobster dish. Their selection of bread was great as well and we had choices of olive or onion. Both were warm and good and totally delectable. and then for dessert, because we were so stuffed... we had to share the chocolate tart dish. It was great, not too sweet at all and made only when you order. yum yum yum
