This must be the longest title I have so far. What to do, so much happened see. So let's start from the beginning.
LC and I watched
Hannibal Rising this morning. There were only two of us and some other persons (about 5?). I decided I could still laugh out loud anyway when i really need to. (i can't help it!) Ok, but in the end i stifled them all. I know it's annoying.
And so i didn't find it gory enough. It's alright, and Gong Li is still as beautiful as ever. (However, we couldn't make out what she said in the beginning. It got better later through the show so it's alright) I don't want to put too much spoilers here but Mischa is very cute. I think, in the end, the movie needs more gore. I'm not as disappointed with it as I was with Red Dragon though. But after watching Silence of the Lambs for ten fifteen twenty three? many times, I still like Lambs best. No one beats Sir Anthony Hopkins! (and i also learnt that samurai swards are useful things to have around)
ANYWAYS
you would think after gory shows (it's not that gory, come on) people eat less. But it was just the opposite. We ordered too much.
it should have ended here
LC says it's cos she was too hungry.
but we had to be 'persuaded' but unknown forces
But actually no, we're not really that hungry.
Well we didn't finish everything but the place was alright, and is worth coming down again. Whenever that is.
So, a very exciting thing happened today on the way home. I got the ingredients ready for the Tuna Cake treat for the dogs. and trudging through the crowd in the sheltered walkways escaping from the downpour, i found myself staring at strange signs in the metro station. 'Train Service Delayed Due to Incident' What incident? Well if it was a train fault they would admit it's a train fault. If it was a technical problem, they would say so too. But no. It's an incident. Everyone was standing around looking like they were totally lost. But I went my way anyways although the route i had to take now is much more troublesome. and the announcement later confirms that there was an accident.
hmm....
And then on the way back there was this old man who pushed his way forth and waved his hand about - so that he could get to the seat on my far left. he kinda shoved everyone away and his bag took on those he missed during his rude process.
I had a seat later during the right, except that the person on my left was sitting far out of his seat. (like he's leaning forward) It's ok but the annoying thing is that the person (a student) on his left is staring at me peeling the price tags off some pencils i bought. SO IRRITATING. i just glared back at him. why are there so many weirdos on mrts. and later i had to walk across him to get out of the train and he was talking (very loudly) on his mobile. which isn't a problem because i'm getting off, but he had to stick out his stupid foot and kick my shoe. yes yes ACCIDENTALLY. but i gave him the Death Glare anyways.
on another note i got home and started preparing the tuna cake for millie. I've been wanting to try this for awhile but never had the opportunity nor time.
And so here's the firsh Smash of the Garlic in my kitchen
And then we throw everything we have together (less the flour)
After i smashed up the tuna into little bits, it's time to add the flour
there's my new spatula! :D
After that i had some milk added to make it gooey enough. And it goes into a baking tray.
all ready for the oven!
By this time it was already smelling sooooo good.
And it's left in the oven for about 40 mins (and now the whole kitchen smells good before it becomes golden brown at the top.
All Done!
YUMMY.
I watched American Idol while making this, and was wondering why the lousy ones stay. Darn.
