Well well... hmmm... very fed up of trying to book flights home. so complicated going to Scotland - or if not expensive. so update livejournal instead.
Can now tick off 'going to a random strange party hosted by very rich Viennese guy with funny hyphenated surname' from my list of important things to do whilst in Austria.
The catering included cous-cous, pasta salad, bean salad thing, potato salad, chocolate brownie and more. Strangely all the saladiness abundance kind of reminded me of One World lunches in a way except that it wasnt vegetarian, and clearly made by caterers and cost a lot. Most of the guests (rich Austrians) seemed strangely uninterested in eating it too.
They did seem quite interested in the fact I came from Scotland - one wanted to know about how he could see a caber being tossed. There was also a cardboard cutout of John Kerry.
Right now I am off to cook lunch and wonder what to do with my life...or maybe just cook lunch and see if Kate wants to go out for coffee.
