Notes: Inspired by some conversation months ago on the LP board at fanforum. Wrote this back in September, but only just now typed it and cleaned it up.

( Both Leonard and Penny wanted to be sure this was more than some rebound, or falling back into the routine of their old mistakes. )

The only way I can see this going is that they maybe make it through one more not-kiss and then go clothes-tearing nuts. Not that I don't think you can write teasing, but I don't think they could handle it!

And oooh, cocky!Leonard again! Now I want this to turn into a full blown fic, but I won't be that person that asks, just saying this was good enough that I wish it was longer. :P I love how confidant Leonard is driving Penny crazy. I so want to see it on the show but you almost do too good of a job writing it so I don't want to see them mess this thing up.

His grin is all too cocky for Penny’s liking as he disappears into his apartment.

Next time, Penny decides, she’ll see how Leonard holds up with the same treatment.

Ooo-oo-oo-ooh, I don't see that going well. But I love thinking of them continuously trying to outdo the other...and I love thinking of Penny being the one to break.

I really did consider making this longer! And I still might. But I figured while I had this finished, I might as well post it now.

And cocky!Leonard is way too awesome.

Well either way, I love it! And this comment feature. This is new...I think...but whatever I love the fic more than I love this comment box, haha.

Yeah, the comments section got all redone. I don't mind some of the changes, but some of the others kind of suck, especially when navigating through communities with tons of comments...

But anyway, Penny clearly likes cocky!Leonard, and we like him too!

I must give the disclaimer that I have seen all of maybe ten episodes of TBBT, but I definitely shipped these two from the beginning. I think it was partly because of you, and partly because my own shipper tendencies lean that way. Anyway. Not important! I thought this was a good fic, and I could see them doing this. Good job! :D
