{vid} "My Skin" - Mentalist, light Cho/Jane
My first Mentalist vid! :O
Natalie Merchant's "My Skin" is a gorgeous, haunting song that's been on my mind for well over a year. When I started vidding again last week (thanks to a challenge on scifiland), I started thinking about what I might do for a Mentalist vid. After all, I have a program to transfer my dvd files at the moment and I have the lovely boxset so...
Initially it was going to be a "pure" Jane video but then I managed to track down some good scenes with Cho and Jane so I have some not-so-subtle hints for my OTP. ;) There did end up being someone of a story thread for the vid, but you may interpret it as you will.

More "tech-y" notes: Made in Windows Live Movie Maker. This is a very simplified program with minimal editing capabilities. Also, the timeline is not numerically marked so it's difficult to go back into the middle to edit without screwing the rest of it up. :\ Basically this means that I work from beginning to end, doing my best with each section before going onto the next.
The only real problem I have with this vid is the quick cut from Jane to Cho during the lyrics "the sweetness." Darn. I didn't notice it early enough to inspire me to futz around and fix it.
