I've teared up reading a couple articles regarding SCOTUS's decision. I'm so happy and amazed! Thank you, Justice Kennedy, for your thorough consideration and taking a stand for equality. The excerpts I've read from the decision are actually quite beautiful.
I wish this had come sooner, that more of the women I grew up around had been able to marry and see this day, but I'm glad we didn't have to wait any longer. There are days that my faith in humanity is strong, today is one of those days. I'm deeply thankful, especially after a shitty week.
