*points* In the sidebar and on my profile you should be seeing a word counter now. I'm going to do my best to keep those updated - though they're manual updates one until NaNoWriMo.org gets their widgets up, so I might not always be up to date.
Yes I am doing NaNoWriMo this year, but it is more of a "rebel" type participation in that: a) it's not a wholly new story, b) I'm not requiring myself to stick to one fic, and c) (tying to b) the goal for me is to get a total of 50K written by month's end. The main project is writing my cwbigbang fic... a.k.a. the sequel to "Where All My Journeys End" (sabriel_mini).
You don't want to know about my RL right now *rolls eyes* Though let me clarify that teaching is amazing and I love it and I'm stunned that I've only got 7 more weeks (not even full ones) left before I turn the class back to the usual 300 teacher. (And let me also say that the only words to describe how I feel about the grad class I have to take right now are all very foul and nasty swear words. Yeah. it's *that* grand.)
