the immediate future
I have very high expectations for next quarter. Winter is the season for Mock Trial tournaments and the National Drill Competition in New Orleans. I might find it very hectic the first seven weeks but I wouldn't change a thing on my tentative schedule. I love competing; I feel that it might be one of my defining traits. And I've certainly put in time and effort.
I don't doubt that I'll be given the opportunity to go compete in mock trial. It's just the other thing that worries me. At this point, I don't care as much about winning as I do about actually participating. I just want everything to pan out the way people have promised me. Even if it means lots of missed classes and less sleep and constantly being pressed for time...I want it all to happen.
