we are gods with anuses....true...very true....we have thoughts, feelings and interpretations for the world unlike any other species.... unlike others who can only live for the moment, we expand our innerselves to yesterday, our curiosity to centuries ago, our fears to 5 billion years from now when the sun will cool, our hopes to an eternity from now. we live "not only on a tiny territory, nor even on an entire plante, but in a galaxy, in a universe, and in dimensions beyond visible universes".
yet our great minds are constrained in our bodies that will one day cease to function and decay and decompose and become parts of other things(other human beings, if fortunate).....we're great, nontheless we still die....very very absurd.....
we are forgetful by nature. rationally we know death is invicinble and unpredictable, yet we make plans as if we will live longer than tomorrow. but that is good, because if we let our fear of death haunts us day and night, we won't be able to function. we lie to ourselves, we innately repress our fear of death so much that it becomes a form of denial. we want to fully perceive the world that is full of beauty and masjesty, but death tells us that too much emotion always bring suffering. death not only shows itself to us through dead bodies, it lies deep within us, using dream, fear, imagination and panic to constantly remind us that it’s the big winner of all lives.
so once again, we are god with anuses.......
