been practicing kicking and learning jpn on my own. it's fun but i'm terribly inefficient so i actually achieve little besides moments of "ah-ha"s. it might be better if there was a way to tangibly measure my progress

That's really one of the key things in life..

I am cleaning up my LJ communities today. Left quite a few communities... I am no longer interested in things that I had strong passion in before... Don't know whether to feel sad about it or what...

So the question is really what is my lifelong passion? Is there even one? Do people's interest move on because their life moves on or do their interest remain the same?

呵呵, 可能都有吧. 一生的爱好或只是一时的喜欢, 只要是自愿的、来自内心的就好. 一个多年的爱好如果哪天不喜欢了却还因为喜欢了很久就坚持着, 这兴趣就成负担了.

想了一下, 又觉得有没有PASSION也许都无所谓. 有就用心去做, 没有就没有, 不需要太刻意为了有兴趣而找兴趣. 也许我的兴趣就是没有什么特别的爱好, 对什么都有点兴趣. ^_^

小学喜欢数学，初中喜欢物理，高中喜欢电脑。大学发现没有什么好换得了，继续喜欢电脑。（当然职业也是一个重要因素，不可能只是因为喜欢什么而读什么了。）也曾近喜欢过法律，到如今，又喜欢上心理学了。

小学也是偏向数学, 中学喜欢生物, 后来慢慢改成经济/金融, 现在也对心理学有浓厚兴趣.

学Biz Minor的时候也对经济/金融很感兴趣，可惜只学了点皮毛，没有怎么发展下去。

怎么学心理学？我看了一本Carl Jung的书，一本关于Gut Feeling得书。都非常有趣。

恩, 就是在学校学喽, 呵呵. 上过两堂课, 参加过一些心理系的实验, 满好玩的.

CARL JUNG, 那比较早的哦. 那FREUD的也看过了? 是不是也试过自己解梦? 呵呵.

我现在看的是MODERN PSYCHOLOGY方面的东西, 特别是社会心理学方面的, 在理论和内容上跟早期心理学有些不同. 正在读的有一本关于transactional analysis的书, 分析解读人与人之间在社交场合的某些行为, 怪实用的. 以后读研大概就会往这个方向走吧.
