Lol. What part of southern China are you from? I was born in 南京 but I also have roots in 上海 and 苏州.

Oh, excuse me. I am Ventus. I don't know you, but I was excited to find a livejournal with Chinese in it. You see, I just recently learned how to type Chinese into the computer, and I've been scouting out any online Chinese communities I could find (apparently, there are a lot ^^;) My own Chinese writing isn't that great, but I can scrape by in reading/speaking/listening.

Yep...新白娘子传奇 has been one of my interests since I was like 4 years old. ^^; I think 白娘子was my role model for the longest time...*cough*

Blah, but aside from some things, I've been kinda not-in-touch with my heritage (I left China when I was 5) until recently. Trying to regain the language skills I've lost is proving to be pretty difficult. @_@

I like to read enluya's journal because I too was attracted by the Chinese. I don't know how to read and write, but I speak Cantonese. I'm also learning Mandarin. So I like to think myself as Chinese rather than ABC.

Hey, ventus and enluya, how do you guys go about writing Chinese on the computer? Where do you get the program?

hehe, i hope you have win xp, then you can go to ur regional/location options through control panel, then click on "language" => "detail" => "add" ur desired language of input. :)

and you should write more in french so i can practice my french reading too! :D
