Q1. Name: Nix or Nic. I also answer to 'Oi, you' but that's not a name suitable for polite company.

Q2. How did you find out about Elite of the Fleet?

I found the pimpage post on kirkspock and couldn't resist.

Q3. When did you first become interested in Star Trek?

This is the part where i hide in a corner and draw non-existent circles on the ( Read more... )

oh thank you =D i had a lot of fun thinking up that one haha. Starfleet just naturally comes across as a disapproving Mommy to me, what with all the recalcitrant delinquent children worlds and all.

and i just popped over to your journal for a bit and oh my gawd AND WE HAVE USED THE SAME SPARKLY TEXT!

GREAT MINDS =DDDD

First off, when you started describing why you liked Nu!Spock, I was like, "HEY, A PSYCH PROFILING FRIEND!" and then I went "OMG MEDICAL" and, uhm, I think all but three of my checkmarks after that went into Medical (and they each went into a different track, so, uh, you had no real competitors there). Upon my second read, I still felt that Medical vibe, but I did get a broader feel of the scientific understanding of emotions and emotionality, if that makes any sense? It was still people-centric, and in relation to the understanding of emotion and human psychoses.

If that makes any sense at all. Even with that, and the scientific understanding, I still felt the Medical stronger than anything else. So, gut feeling it is, with a good luck thrown in for good measure!

haha thanks for your comment! =D it does make sense, don't worry. in all honesty, i was really keen on psychology and counseling a while back so i guess it's left a permanent sort of imprint on the way i feel or do things? and psych profiling is awesome! i do the MBTI every now and then just to see if my result changes lol

haha i actually don't mind being put in medical, because it'd be like early practice +D but honestly i'd be happy in both and i'm really glad you took that into consideration when deciding what track to put me in. thanks for your vote!

I'm going to go with Operations, even though Medical keeps obtrusively shouldering its way into my line of vision. I think you'll do well in either, but when alls said and done, you're tolerant, you're fair and you're a Hufflepuff. :)

Wow, from start to finish I got the sense you'd be a wonderful fit for both Medical and Operations. I think your idealism and your focus on getting the best outcome for everyone, combined with your personality, would give you an excellent bedside manner, and that tips the balancing act in favor of Medical in my mind.
