This is so, so true. Sometimes it's helpful, or a good thing, and sometimes it hurts others. I try to see the grey, and appreciate it, but when I have to make a decision, I boil it down to the black and white so I can make the best decision possible.
It's so funny to me that I'm between these tracks for the psychological profiling bit. I feel this application is really me, and definitely represents who I am, yet if I followed my usual MB results, ENFP, I'd be in Operations -- the one I feel least fitting for me based on the long explanations Mel has worked out to help enlist (but lol, got my irl degree in one of the areas of Operations, with honors?). It just reminds me of our Skype conversation about the enlistment, and how we could go nearly any way.
Not because you WANT to study the planet, not for your own enjoyment, but because it is your DUTY to do so.
I am destined to be killed, aren't I? lolol
