(
Not that Trucy was picky with food or friends, but this place could make anyone lose their appetite. )
She wondered if she should be disturbed by that, before deciding not to dwell on it. Opening the door so that Trucy would not see the mess that was her room, she peered out hesitantly, smiling. "Hello!" she said happily.

She paused a moment, touching her chin as she thought. "Hmm, it's probably time for lunch by now, which means the fruit's been sitting out a couple hours. Still, we'll find something, even if we have to sterilize it. Ready to go?"
Reply
Rena could hear Trucy asking her if she was ready to go, and was about to reply with a 'yes', but something else came out of her mouth.
"Hau~au! Your clothes are so cute!!" She squealed, taking in the top hat, cloak and dress. "I wanna take you home!~"

Usually liking to return a compliment for a compliment, Trucy glanced at Rena's shirt, then blinked. "Nice pink shirt!"
[ooc: Sorry for the late reply! Now that next event's written, I'll be able to play tonight. ^^]

Rena blinked down at her stained top, and felt a wave of relief that Trucy couldn't identify it as a giant bloodstain. "Thanks!" she smiled back. She didn't trust the way one particular floor board creaked, lifted her foot and danced around it. "This place is really unstable... It's a wonder it hasn't collapsed yet!" she said, finding not stepping on any creaky floorboards was impossible, as the floor was entirely made of them.
[ooc: ooh! I'm gonna go check that out! Tiny Rena... I wonder if she would try to take herself home? XD]

Trucy likewise eased her way around a floorboard or two. Aside from the usual whispers and noises one always found in the dark stairwell, Trucy carefully avoided the rickety handrail. "Oh, that. It did collapse once, but that was only after a blizzard that lasted way too long to be normal." Flashing Rena a bright grin, she added, "Not that much is normal!"

The news of the hotel collapsing really shouldn't have surprised her as much as it did. Logic didn't make much sense here. "Really? Was anyone hurt?" she asked, concerned.
Reply
Trucy screwed up her face in thought at the last question as they reached the second floor landing and continued down. "Yes and no. Actually, I think we died."
Reply
Rena should have expected that last comment, but she drew in breath all the same. "All of you died?" she said incredulously.
Reply
"Yeah, I think so," Trucy answered, hopping down the last few steps before they reached the lobby. "I can't tell for sure, since we woke up outside in the snow and had to hide out in a bloody church for a week. At least it was warm there, but it wasn't pretty."
